About Owner
Lhouvilie Yhor, an architect by profession and proprietor of Tsiese Coffee Beans, discovered his passion for coffee in the late 1980s as a student, sampling quality brews outside his home state of Nagaland. Inspired by India’s growing coffee culture, he realized that his fertile land in Kohima was ideal for cultivation. In 2015, with support from the Coffee Board of India, Yhor planted 10,000 saplings, which eventually flourished into what is now Tsiese Coffee Estate.
